New CO-ASS a.k.a DOKTER MUDA life
Time to update my poor little blog again. hehe..
So where have I been ?
Been really busy ever since our "CO-ASS" a.k.a "Dokter Muda" life started.
Yupe! Me and my entire intake of friends have just completed our medical science studies and were just accepted into the 8th semester (clinical training), second phase of our 5 1/2 years medical course. In this clinical training phase, we are supposed to do our clinical attachments in every department in the hospital and Sanglah Hospital is our main teaching hospital plus another few "satellite" hospitals in other few rural areas of Bali. The PELANTIKAN DOKTER MUDA was held on the 21st of March. Below are the pictures taken :)
Our clinical attachments' labs (departments) are divided into 2 main cycles : Medic cycle and "Bedah" cycle as you can see in the picture below!
Medic cycle consist of 7 labs :
- Radiology
- Psychiatry
- Forensics
- Ophthalmology
- Internal Medicine
- Paediatrics
- Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat (IKK/IKP)
Bedah cycle consist of 6 labs :
- Anesthetic
- Neurology
- Dermatology
- Obstetric and Gynecology
- Bedah
- ENT
This is my DAFTAR SIRKULASI! got it after the Pelantikan. Everyone's schedule is different. All arranged and computerized randomly by our Faculty's Medical Education Unit. My first department was Radiology. And I entered together with Choo Ling Ling ;) One of my closest seniors here in Bali. Luckily she was there to guide me throughout the entire lab. Couldn't have done it without her. *THANK YOU, LING ! muackz !* Radiology was a 2 weeks' lab. Quite a short period to learn up everything we ought to know as a general practitioner!

The LAFAL JANJI DOKTER MUDA
I call this the *YELLOW BOOK* hehe.. Everything about clinical training of dokter muda that we have to know are all printed inside. There's a page to be filled up with grades that we get in each department later. So, whenever we finish an exam of a lab or department, we are supposed to bring this YELLOW BOOK and submit it to the secretary.
